Here is a card that I am going to enter in The Pink Gem Challenge see above link, there are some brilliant cards to help get you started. I decided not to do a Christmas design because its my friends little girls birthday soon and I think this card will do just right for her.
I have not been looking forward to today because I had to go to the dentist for a filling which I've never had done before, I'm pleased to say I made it through and it was not that bad, I'm just feeling a bit like Bruce Forsyth at the moment.

Over at Valentines monthly challenge ( see the above link)  I had to make a card using yellow black and turquoise, here is what I came up with, the stamps are from stampin up the paper and ribbon was from The Glitter Pot and the flower was from Wild Orchid Crafts.
This mornings school run was quite good fun today, just as we left the house it started raining a little bit, by the time we got to school it was raining cats and dogs!!! I had to get completely changed when I got home. Now about to head off to do some shopping and when I get back I'm hoping I will  have chance to play with some christmas stuff!!!

I had a really good day yesterday I went to The Glitter Pot because they had a Demo on and it has given me a few ideas to think about for Christmas cards this year. I made this card a while ago and have just found the image so I thought I would show it to you It was all made with scrap bits of paper and extra bits from Craftwork Cards and no stamp in sight.

Another digi stamp I think she is so sweet I coloured her with pencils and layered her up on scrap bits of paper. I'm in the middle of making up a magnetic book for all my different nestabilities , they always seem to get put at the bottom of a box and I forget about them, I'll try to remember to take a picture of it tomorrow if I get it finished.

I love this image it's so cute and I think it can be used for so many different ages, I used scrap bits of paper from my scrap paper bag , so pleased to be using some of it up and looking through it there is some really nice papers that I had forgotten about.
I can't believe it's the last day of the summer holidays my girls go back to school tomorrow and I really don't want them to it's gone so quick.

This is my first go at making this shape card, was quite pleased with it, think I will need to have a bit more of a play cause I think there is sooo much more I can do with it with a little more effort.
