Afternoon everyone, it's nice to be back even if it is briefly, I have been so busy doing course work, being ill and helping my Mum and Dad move, that I have had no time to craft and I have really been missing it, so this morning I sat down and made this card, it's a lotv stamp and I coloured it using inks. Not sure when I'm going to be back again I have just been set another 3 units to do towards my course, so I had better get that done!!!

Hello, sorry it's so long between posts at the moment I am struggling to get much crafting done, there just seems to be no time at the moment.

Good morning everyone hope your all well. I made my second Christmas card!! it's A LOTV stamp and is very cute, it's quite a simple card, but when you've got to think about posting so many out I don't tend to put to many extra's on!!

 Is anyone following David Wailliams Thames swim? He is doing so well, when we were up at the Thames last weekend I would not even put my feet in that water let alone swim in it. If you want to sponsor him here is the link David Walliams.

Good morning everybody, hope you all had a great weekend. We went to stay with my in-laws on their boat and got to see some wildlife as well. The kids really enjoyed themselves and didn't want to come home.
The kids don't have to go back to school until tomorrow so I have today to sort everything out.

 I made this card before we went away for the weekend and didn't have time to post it. It is for my brother in-law, I thought it was his birthday soon, but have since found out it's not until November, never mind at least it's made. I used an old set of Woodware clear stamp set that I have had for ages and never really played with.

Golly this feels very early for me, we seem to be having long lay ins at the moment, but we have got to start getting back in a routine for next week. This is just a quick post cause I'm off to take the kids to the beach today while the weather is still nice and it's the only day I can before they have to go back to school. This weekend we are taking them up to see my in-laws who live on a canal boat, just a mini get away before school starts.
This is my first Christmas card that I've made this year, because of the new glue that I got the other day I seem to be 3ding everything, had the stamp for quite a long time I think it was from Cuddly Buddly and the paper is a new pad that I picked up from The Glitter Pot when I was last down there.

Good morning hope everyone is well, can't believe that it's September already!!! As you can see by the bad quality of the photo the sun is out so I can't really complain. I made the card for my Dad's birthday later this month, he is the king of BBQ's so this suits him really well.

I'm back again!!! this is a card that I made using some new 3d glue that I brought the other day and some papers that I brought so long ago and have never used I really love them but was never to sure what to use them for.
I want to enter this in to the simon says stamp and show challenge

Got a little bit bored of doing men's cards so I had to do one for a little girl, I think this is a stamping Bella stamp I've had it quite a long time and always forget about it, but really love it once it's stamped.
I am pleased to say that I went shopping and got most of the kids stuff for school, it's quite scary how much it all cost but at least I don't have to panic about it now.

The summer holidays just seem to be flying by 1 week today and my girls go back to school and I haven't even started buying their school uniform yet.
This is a little card that I made using a Lily of the Valley stamp it's so cute and I found this paper in a local craft shop which I loved and just had to get!!!!

This is a male card, I manage to make one!!! It's a stamping Bella stamp that I've had for quite a while and always seem to fall back on for a male birthday, I think it suits most men.

Morning, hope your all well, just a quick post cause I'm off to see my sister in Hailsham today. We were going to go to the beach in Eastbourne and play Crazy Golf, but the weather is not being kind to us today, so we will have to have a rethink.
I have started to make some male cards but I thought I would start with one for a little boy because I love this image and have not had a go at using it yet, I'm not very pleased with the overall finish of the card I think it needs a bit more, but the image is fab.

I managed to  get both cards made but as you can see I cheated a bit, I used the same design for both cards but just used a different sentiment , I hope they like them. I was having a look through my cards that I have already made and realised that I don't have many for males so I am setting myself a little challenge to try and make some. I'm starting to get back into crafting again it seems such a long time, I have had a quick look at some of your blogs and there are some fab cards out there which is scaring me a little bit at the moment.
This is a quick card that I made using a Pink Gem stamp and some paper I found in my local craft shop, I'm off to make some cards because both my sisters have asked me for a card each, one wants an anniversary card and the other wants an engagement card.xxx

Hi everyone hope you are all well, it seems such a long time since I have been about, but I have had great fun staying at my brothers house for a little holiday. This first picture is in Shaftsbury, it was a lovely town and some may recognize this hill from a famous advert?

 This one was taken when we went for a walk in the New Forest near Linwood it's so beautiful I loved it.

 This is a picture of me and the hubby I think it's one of the only picture's of us together because I'm always the one on the other side of the camera.

 One of the main reasons the kids wanted to go to the New Forest was to see soon ponies and we were very lucky to find quite a few, this one is one that almost stepped out in front of the car and scared all of us.
and the last picture is of a Monkey we saw when we went to Monkey world. I do have about 500 pictures that I took and this is just some of the things that we got up to , but I'm sure it would get a little bit boring for me to share all that with you!!

Just a quick post this morning to show you a card that a made a while ago for my friends birthday, it's not as great as i was hoping it to turn out like but I was quite limited for time with this one.xxx

Morning everyone, hope your having a good day!! It's raining here in Sussex and I would normally think that it means a whole day of crafting, but instead I think it's going to mean a whole day of course work, not nearly as much fun. I made this card the other day using the free stamp set from a magazine last month and the paper is just scraps from my stash. Every now and then I try to use some of my scrap paper up that are sitting in a large box, but I can never resist all the lovely pattern papers that are available. I did pop to The Glitter Pot yesterday to pick up some ribbon but also came away with a new pad of pattern paper, it is a Christmas one so I might try to get started on some Christmas cards soon.

I love this stamp and not really used it much so I thought I would use up some scrap paper that I found that is actually part of the same set, I was not sure if this going to be a bit to busy but I'm quite pleased with the way it turned out.
The start to this week has already been busy, we went over to my sister-in-law's yesterday and played in the paddling pool and then ended up having a BBQ in the evening, and then today I have taken my kids and my nephew to the Bluebell Railway and went for a ride on a steam train. Going to have to start thinking about next week cause we are going to be staying with my brother in the New Forest which means I've got to get a lot of washing done, as well as staying on track with my course!!

Sorry it's been so long since my last post the time just seems to be flying by. I have finished my level 2 in supporting teaching and have now just started my level 3 which involves a lot of work over the next 6 months.
I have also been doing a few bits with the kids now they are on their summer holidays we have been swimming, to the park, up the woods and had a day making animal cakes which I do have pictures of and I will post later.
This simple card is what I made for the teacher at school that I was working with, she is really lovely and very helpful so I just wanted to thank her for all her help, I'm hoping to go back and work with her next term. Hope you all have a lovely weekend and hopefully I will be back soon.

Hi I'm back again!!! I have made this card using distressing inks, this is the first time that I've tried colouring with them and I'm quite pleased for a first attempted. I found this paper in my stash of stuff I think I got it from The Brighton Craft Show and it just seemed to fit, the little charm I have had for years and have been able to use at last!

I have started making some presents for Larna's teachers, this is a little box with some note cards in them not sure what else to make them yet. I want to enter this into my mums craft shop challenges which has a theme of swirls and pearls and as you can see I added swirls to the top of the box and pearls to the top of my cards (I don't think you can see that very well in this picture sorry)

I'm off to try and change a pair of jeans into flares because I have been invited to the teachers end of term party next Friday which has a 70's theme!!!!

This is a card a made a while ago for my God daughters birthday, she loves butterflies and the colour purple and I'm pleased to say she really liked it. I would have liked to have changed the butterfly and gone a little smaller but I don't have one, but she did not notice.

 I made this card for A gem of a challenge this week it's theme is let's hear it for the boys. I love this boat paper it's a shame I covered so much of it up. Hi I'm back again!!! this is a card that I made this afternoon for Cup cake Craft Challenge I know it's very simple but I found this really hard to do. I'm off now to put Larna to bed.

Does anyone else feel quite pleased with a card and then view it on the computer and is then not so sure about it? This is one of them, I made this for the Lily of the Valley Challenge I think the colour is quite a bit darker then it is in real life and I think it might need a bit more bling, anyway enough moaning. I made this with a Lily of the Valley stamp and My Minds Eye paper, don't think you can tell from the picture but I have add some Flower Soft in polar white and some glitter glue to the wings.
I'm off to do a bit more crafting before I go up to school, hope you all have a fab weekend.xxx

Just a quick card and post from me today, I've been so busy trying to finish my course off before the end of term (I'm almost there) and have applied for a job at school, fingers crossed cause I know someone else who has applied for the same job and she has more qualifications than me.

How about that for a view? I was so lucky to spend the night at a lovely beach house with a private beach (Zoe Ball's) and this is what I was able to wake up to.

I made this card during the week I'm trying to have a go at making some male cards again!!! This is a digi stamp and I'm really sorry but I can't remember where I got it from, if I work it out I'll let you know the paper is some off cuts that I found in my stash.

It's my friends birthday next week, but we are going out tonight to celebrate, I've just packed the kids off to my Mum's for the night and myself and my husband are heading down to Brighton to stay at a lovely beach house right on the sea front I'm so excited, shame the weather is not a bit nicer, but after a few drinks I'm sure we won't mind.
